Really? Seriously?

And just when you think you hit the max.. more shit goes wrong..
While we were at the beach at my convention, Saturday our ranch hand calls and informs us that Gracie's baby was found dead, and when he picked him up, his neck was broken... I have no idea what happened.. but Gracie has gashes down her right side and a huge hematoma on her rib cage... so I have no idea...
and I'm sad about that baby.. but, I'm thankful Gracie is still here..
Not to be topped by Monday morning I get a phone call saying I needed to come out and check on Bosco....
I went out there and Bosco was colicy.. So I shot him up with banamine called my dad and told him to come over..  My Father gets here, and he starts walking him.. and I told him if it didn't clear up in about 45 minutes call the vet...   You could see where he had been rolling all night on the ground..
So we put him on a trailer to try to get him to poop.. no avail... and dad kept walking him..  I get a phone call at work and dad told me the vet was there and they were tubing him...
Then the vet left us with some banamine and some pain shot.. and had to give him both at 4pm and then just banamine at 11pm..  I get home from work at 6pm..  I go outside.. and I see Bosco.. I'm like "hey buddy how are you feeling" then reached out for his face and then he started shaking like I have never seen anything before in my life... and I started screaming for the ranch hands.. and they came running.. and Bosco went down.. and we put a halter on him and were pulling trying to get him up.. and he wouldn't get up...I called my dad and screamed for him to call the vet and hung up on him.. I grabbed Bosco's head in my hands and I was yelling at him Bosco we've been together our whole lives.. you have to get up... I told him I loved him and he needed to fight..  but he drew his last breath and that was it...
My dad Showed up after Bosco Passed away... and the vet called us back and my dad told him that he had already passed, and the vet was explaining about adhesions in the gut and aneurysms and all these complications with elder horses...   Bosco and I were together since I was 16..  He was 27 years old...  I got upset.. and then I just started remembering all the great things that Bosco had done...
Knocking down the jumps, because he didn't want to learn to jump... me and him falling down a cliff one time, just sliding down.. he didn't get all crazy and freak out... he waited until we stopped at the bottom..then got back up.. I jammed my finger and we headed back up...
the only thing he was scared of was butterflies...  I'll never forget the time I was riding in the woods.. and a butterfly landed on his nose and I thought he was going to come UNGLUED....
We had a friend of the family riding him one time, and this guy had real bad peripheral neuritis and he couldn't feel his feet and he had balance issues...  he fell off the side of bosco and had a foot still stuck in the stirrup.. Bosco just stopped and looked back at him... until we got over to him and helped him up...
He used to shake his head yes for a cookie.. and you could call his name from anywhere and he would come running..
we were building our barn using a nail gun.. he'd lean over your back while you were nailing and his hair would go flying from the air... didn't bother him..
he got his foot stuck in a palate one time.. he just stood there all day until we came to feed him for dinner.. didn't freak out or act stupid...
Just a great great friend....
He has now walked across the rainbow bridge to be greeted by, Romeo, Navajo, Pokey and Bad Moon...
This is my favorite picture of us... Taken One Easter Sunday
